19th Century French Cherry Farm Table

France. Circa 1880.


Late 19th century French farm table in cherry with knife drawer and breadboard ends.  Table stands on cabriole legs.

French Fruitwood Dining Table 

France. Circa 1860.

With its scalloped apron and cabriole legs, this table is has a more dynamic appearance than an ordinary work table, but its single side drawer and pull-out breadboard slide say otherwise.  A rich patina warms the surface and the color is exemplary.

Chestnut Limed Farm Table 

French Provincial. Circa late 19th century.

Limed chestnut worktable or farm table with one-inch thick top and breadboard ends. Sturdy tapered legs. Tabletop shows the good use to which the table was put.

French chestnut drawleaf table with antique boards.  Table features 22" leaves that extend out and breadboard ends.  Either a single leaf or both can be extended.   Table stands on champhered tapered legs.

Oval Oak Vendange Table

France. Circa 1880.


With its tilting, two board elm top and gentle elliptical shape, this table is just the right size and appearance to take outside for some libation enjoyment. Or it could be repurposed to duty in a breakfast nook. The possibilities are not endless, but this little table has a lot of potential.
