Reginald's favorite clock

Did you know that skeleton clocks are a French marvel of the 18th century? A horologist (for pronunciation visit: here) could display his/her craftsmanship by showing the intricate works of the clock. Elaborate frameworks were devised to showcase the inner workings.

In England, skeleton clocks found favor and became quite popular during the Victorian period. Skeleton clocks often feature a chapter ring in the shape of a cathedral’s rose window. In fact the frameworks were also made to reflect a cathedral.

To showcase our latest skeleton clock, we would like to introduce you to Reginald.
