Elm Lowboy

England. Circa 1790.

A superb example of an English country lowboy, this table appears to be showing its age in the angle of its legs--which seem to be thinking independently as to which direction they would like to go. Some would call this imperfection or defective, but we like to call it "charm." The richly grained elm, combined with the beautiful color and patina, elevate the desirability of this sweet little table.
