A three piece, tan leather surface with tooling and gilding is the starting point for this 3 part pedestal desk in walnut burl.  Classic touches abound in the appearance and construction of this handsome desk.  A nod to modern desk use includes a locking file drawer while antiquity is addressed with the applied moulding on the sides.
