Mahogany Tilt Top Table
England. Circa 1860.
English, mahogany tripod tilt top table with dish edge. Unique pedestal with solid stretcher defines this normally ubiquitous table as something out of the ordinary. Further setting this table apart is the knowledge that it was commissioned by Lady Maria Coventry, Croome Estate, Worcestershire - as identified by the ivory label with M.A.C. on it.
