Perfect seating four and able to accommodate 6 very easily, this country oak pedestal table is just right for that breakfast area. Or, with its substantial base, it could serve duty in the center hall of a country estate. Hand planed and antiqued to blend well in a home with antique furniture, but well executed so as not to look overdone, this table wears its small scars proudly.

The gentle elliptical shape of this French style manor house table allows for seating of 8 people comfortably, with the possibility of 12 if four are willing (or can be cajoled) to straddle a leg. The attractive curves of the cabriole legs complement the arc of the tabletop while the overall warm honey color is evocative of an antique table from a bygone era.

This oak extension table with self-storing leaves is just the right size for 6, but pull the 18" leaves out from each end and seating 10 isn't out of the question. In a rich, country oak and supported by tapered legs, this table has a solid, honest appearance. It also can be ordered in cherry, walnut, or ash, if oak isn't your preference. Special order large sizes are also available.

Two thick, wide boards flank a narrow central spine on this sturdy table with breadboard ends, while, in a nod to civility, an actual breadboard slide pulls out from one end.  On thick, straight legs connected by a stout “H” stretcher, this table is prepared for another century of service.

This oak gate leg table is difficult to tell from an antique--the construction and distressing of the wood and finish are that good. But we won't steer you wrong; this table was made for us most recently, another delightful creation by one of our English craftsmen, and it looks great tucked in behind a sofa (25" deep with leaves down), or seating the family for dinner.

Custom made for us in England, this solid cherry table offers the versatility of two 16” leaves.  On a sturdy base of four turned legs with a strong cross stretcher, it will open from a 51” diameter round to an oblong shape 67” to 83” long.   Available in the cherry seen here, it also can be special ordered in oak or ash.
